Disclaimer:

Anything I publish is my own personal opinion, and not necessarily the opinions of my past, present, or future employers.

Official:

Anna is the Web Communications Specialist for the National Restaurant Association. She oversees multiple websites and web projects for the association with special attention to design, user interaction, and analytics. She has dined at some of the best (and worst) restaurants in cities around the globe. Feel free to ask for stories. Previously, Anna was the Web and Social Media Editor for J-Lab, a nonprofit journalism innovation and research center in Washington, D.C.

Anna is a co-organizer for Hacks/Hackers D.C. and serves on the advisory board for SXSW Interactive. She is passionate about clean design and typography, information architecture, UX, and media ethics. She holds an MA in Journalism from American University and a BA in Mass Communication from Texas State University.

Anna is unapologetically Texan and loves music and collections of short stories.

Unofficial:

I’m over-educated and overly-curious and a procrastinator. I like to read and tell stories, ride my bike and go to brunch with friends. I play video games and discuss web design pretty much constantly. I really love restaurants and the innovative spirit of those in food service.

I used to want to be a journalist.

This is one of Anna's little spots on the Web.
